Portrait of Charles Reich unveiled at Yale Law School

(top) Classmates, former students, and admirers crowded the Faculty Lounge for the Friday afternoon presentation of a portrait of Charles A Reich ’52. After addresses by Guido Calabresi ’58 and Dean Anthony T. Kronman ’75, among others, Reich expressed his appreciation for the honor (he’s on the right; the portrait is on the left).

(left) Three guests of particular note at the portrait presentation were Michael A. Varet ’65 (next to Reich) and Elizabeth R. Varet, who commissioned the portrait, as well as Daniel Duffy, the artist who set Reich on canvas.
